Toddler Terminology

I have recently spent some more time with my nieces and nephew, ages 2, 3, and 4. It has been fun to learn their terms, here defined:

I wan my my-mo mi-mi - I want my drink Michael

Me Mi ko - That is my Uncle Michael

My Shi sa
- That is my Aunt Charissa

Budder took my dwee - My brother took my drink

Ere Mommy - Where's Mommy?

Goway - Go away, or leave me alone

I Cerilla - I am Cinderella

I wanna be good - I don't want to be punished for what I just did

I weh - I need my diaper changed

Papa - You look old enough to be my grandpa

Now, you too can talk to a toddler.
